A life on the ocean wave

Nicholas started his musical activities at the age of nine, by first studying the Piano. After 3 years of diligent practice he found himself drawn to the organ and its many tones. It then became his driving ambition to perform at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom; amazingly this ambition was achieved at just 17 years of age!
In 1983, Nicholas became the resident Wurlitzer organist at ‘Turners’ a position he was to hold for the next 21 years.
In 2004 he was pleased to be offered the post of Musical Director at the Wicksteed Pavilion. Nicholas can be seen regularly thrilling audiences with his mastery of the Technics organ.
Nicholas has recorded over 30 albums and is a regular guest on BBC Radio 2’s ‘The Organist Entertains’.
He loves playing to a live audience and is always ready to answer any questions audiences may have.
